摘　　要：文章概述了高校图书馆咨询工作的特点及任务 ,并分析网络环境下参考咨询工作面临的机遇和挑战 ,提出网络环境下参考咨询工作应重视的问题 。In this paper,the author outlines the characteristics and tasks of the information retrieval work of the aˉcademic libraries,analyses the opportunities and challenges they are faced with under the Internet environment,and points out that we should attach great importance to ten aspects including making use of the Internet.The author also gives a direction to the future development of the information retrieval work in the academic libraries.
