摘　　要：环境教育、可持续发展是当今学术界研究的热门课题.本文论述了可持续发展这一新的发展观,讨论了新时期环境教育的发展方向,指出发展环境教育是解决环境问题、实施可持续发展战略的有效手段.Environmental education and sustainable development have become the popular subjects for researching in academia. In this paper, the new ideas of sustainable development and the developing direction of environmental education are discussed. Meanwhile, the paper points out that developing environmental education is an effective way to resolve the environmental problems and to implement the strategy of sustainable development.
