摘　　要：Malapropism指词语的可笑的误用。它的特殊形式及内涵使它在某种程度上具有不可译性。然而,如果以信息等效理论为基础,我们仍然能提出一些适用于英语误用词翻译的基本原则。Malapropism,a humorous misapplication of a word or a phrase, with its special form and implication, is in possession of untranslatability to a certain extent. However, the five basic principles set up here on the basis of the theory of information equivalence, are available for translating English malapropism.
