摘　　要：十六大党章明确了“三个代表”重要思想的历史地位 ,确立了党在新世纪新阶段的奋斗目标 ,提出了建设社会主义政治的新观点 ,扩大了党的阶级基础和群众基础 ,为新时期党的建设和国家建设奠定了坚实的理论基础。The new party constitution rivised at th 16th Congress makes clear the historical position of the important thinking:“three represents”,establishes the party's objective of our struggle in the new period of this century,puts forward the new views to construct socialist political civilization,enlages the class foundation and masses foundation of the party,and lays a solid theoretical foundation and ideological foundation for the construction of our party and country in the new period.
