TEMPORAL AND SPACIAL VARIATIONS OF NUTRIENTS IN WESTERN PART OF TAIWAN STRAIT AND THEIR RELATIONS TO HYDROLOGICAL AND BIOLOGICAL FACTORS

摘  要:本文报道了1984年5月至1985年2月台湾海峡西部海域(22°19′—27°25′N,116°30′—121°E)活性硅酸盐、磷酸盐和三氮总含量的平面、断面、垂直分布和季节变化及其与沿岸径流和海峡中不同水系的消长、上升流、浮游植物的关系,以及各营养盐之间及其与盐度的相关性。The results of the comprehensive survey for western part of Taiwan Strait from May, 1984 to February, 1985 indicated that the concentration ranges and average values are 0-83.9, 15.1μmol/L for SiO3-Si; 0-0.92, 0.26μmol/L for PO4-P; 0.08- 21.4, 6.75μmol/L for total inorganic nitrogen, which are among the medium trophic level. Horizontally nutrient concentrations decrease from nearshore to offshore with peaks at waters near Mingjiang-Pingtan Island and offshore Jiu Rongjiang River, clear decreasing trends from the north to the south are also observed in autumn and winter. The transect distribution indicates that except the upwelling at transect Z3 near Pingtan I land, previously reported, upwellings are obviously shown at sea areas offshore Xiamen (Z5) and the Southwest Waters of Taiwan Bank, the influence from the latter can reach 20m deep. Nutrients are at low level in spring and summer and high in autumn and winter, showing a quite clear negative correlationship with total phytoplankton cell density. In autumn and winter, correlationships at 95% significant level exist among nutrients and with salinity, while in spring and summer these relations are insignificant.
