摘　　要：介绍了人工神经网络的概念和原理,重点介绍和推导了BP算法。分析了手写体汉字识别存在的问题及 应用的技术,并对利用BP算法进行手写体汉字识别进行了详细讨论,分析了在用BP算法进行手写体汉字识别 时的具体步骤,最后介绍了对BP算法提出的改进方法。To investigate the application of back-propagation algorithm to the recognition of handwritten Chinese characters, the principle of artificial neural network and Back-propagation algorithm are discussed. Then the problems that handwriting Chinese characters' recognition meets are descrlbed and the techniques that it uses are introduced. And handwritten Chinese characters' recognition using BP algorithm in detail is also analyzed. Finally the improvement to BP algorithm is introduced.
