摘  要:章回小说的开头模式大致可以分为三种:引首类、楔子类、缘起类。引首类与话本的入话、头回非常相似,以诗词、议论、小故事引入小说正文;楔子类以金圣叹《第五才子书水浒传》为代表,指在小说开头借助于神话、故事等叙述方式来阐释作品的主旨或寓意的一类开头;缘起类以《红楼梦》为代表,这一类开头主要是介绍作品的创作缘起,注重从结构的全局去把握作品的总体。本文从文体渊源的角度来考察中国古代章回小说开头模式化的成因。首先,话本小说与章回小说有着共同的文体源头———说书艺术,因此二者之间的相似之处是显而易见的;其次,文章分析了元杂剧和明清传奇对章回小说开头方式的影响;最后,文章还指出八股文对章回小说的深刻影响。Novels headed with a couplet that explains away the gist of the content are called zhanghui in Chinese. The beginning patterns of this kind of novel are guide, wedge and origin. Guide introduces to the main topic by way of a poem, comment or a short story. Wedge explicates the theme or meaning by way of mythology or fairy tale. Origin tells how is the novel generated, a good example in case is A Dream of the Red Chambers. The paper asserts that story-teller's script has a profound influence on the beginning patterns of this sort of novel, so are the poetic drama set to music in the Yuan dynasty and romances in Ming and Qing. Finally the eight-part essay also has some influence on the beginning patterns of the novel.
