摘　　要：西部大开发是一项规模宏大的系统工程 ,其开发战略能否顺利实施 ,在很大程度上取决于劳动者素质的提高。西部要发展 ,教育必先行 ,教育要先行 ,必须要有一支数量充足 ,质量优良 ,相对稳定的师资队伍 ,从改革开放至今的形势看 ,西部的师资问题将再一次成为开发中的热点问题 ,引起人们的关注和思考。The western development is a large scale systematic project Whether the strategies of the development could be carried out smoothly or not, to some extent, relies on the improvement of the qualities of the laborers If the western part of China wants to be developed, we have to develop the education first And if the education wants to be developed, it is necessary to keep sufficient teachers,with high quality and relative stability According to the situation after China's policies of reform and opening to the outside world, the issues about teachers in the western development will become the hot spot again and get more concern and consideration
