摘　　要：现代奥林匹克运动继承和发展了古奥林匹克运动的基本理念 ,在社会文化的大背景下 ,更强调其教育功能 ,强调竞技运动与文化的结合 ,以此而达到对青少年生活教育的目的。奥林匹克主义的推广和普及 ,使广大的青少年在参与竞技运动的过程中 ,锻炼和提高身体的。Inheriting and developing the fundamental spirit of the ancient Olympic Movement,the modern Olympic Movement has been paid more emphasis on its educational functions and its combination with culture on the social cultural background,to fulfill its purpose on life education for the youth.The popularization of Olympism is conducive to the cultivation and improvement of the youth's physical,spiritual and social qualities through thier participation in sports activities.
