古地理研究的前景与挑战

摘　　要：近代地球科学的发展和大陆动力学前沿领域研究的活跃,向古地理研究者提出新的挑战,亟需编制新一代具找矿效应的等时的、活动论的古地理图.在地学领域中活动论和固定论是相对的,在今后相当长的时限内,尚不能完全以非当今界限编绘古地理图.当前活动论古地理的研究,首要的是转变思路,不仅要从沉积区反馈盆地的构造活动,同时还要从非沉积区的古地理演化获得造陆、造山的佐证,以此编制全球性的中小比例尺的构造—古地理复原图.层序地层学的出现不仅为编制以层序不整合面、高位体系域和凝缩段为标志的等时性古地理图提供了条件,而且还使穿时体系域的时空演化研究成为可能.露头古地理图相对于古地理复原图而言,对找矿预测和油气盆地选区评价更具实际意义.The development of earth sciences and activity on frontiers of continent dynamics put forth a new challenge to the palaeogeography researchers, and mobilism palaeogeography maps should be compiled for prospecting of mineral deposits and study of the evolution of sedimentary crust as well as continental tectonics . Mobilism and fixism are relativistic in the Earth sciences. Geologists could not draw exactly palaeogeography map with nonpresent boundaries, but they must change their mind with mobilization ideas. Selecting the information from the sedimentary area in order to get contrary evidence to basin tectonic activity, and also to orogenic process, geologists can compile the reconstruction maps of tectonic lithofacies palaeogeography. The theory of sequence stratigraphy makes it possible to compile the isochronous and di-achronous palaeogeography map with sequence unconformity boundary, condensed section as well as high-stand system tract. The outcrop palaeogeography maps can be used to predict mineral deposits and evaluate oil-bearing basins.
