单疱病毒性角膜炎血清和泪液锌含量的临床研究

摘　　要：单疱病毒性角膜炎(以下简称HSK)是角膜感染单疱病毒(HSK)Ⅰ型所致的眼病,复发率高,难于防治。The body zinc status of the patients with HSK has not been reported before.In thisstudy,the serum and tear zinc levels of the 21 patients with HSK and the 21 sex-and age-matched controls were investigated by atomic absorption spectrophotometry.of all the cases,the disease is unilateral,but tear is bilateral.The results of the patients are as follows:1.The mean zinc level was normal in serum (p>0.05),decreased in tears of the healthyeyes (P<0.05) and the diseased eyes (P<0.01),and no difference between the healthy eyesand diseased ones (P>0.05).2.No difference between the superficial HSKs and interstitialones in both serum and tear (P>0.05).3.The statistical correlation of zinc level between theserum and tear had not been found (P>0.05).According to the experiment results mentioned above,we have discussed the signiffi-cance of zinc in the therapy and prophylaxis of HSK,and the relationship between zinc andthe mechanism of recurrence of HSK.Furthermore,we suggest;1.The decreased zinc levelsin tears are related to the recurrence of HSK.2.Topical treatment with zinc is benificial tothe HSK.3.The effect of systemic administration need to be further investigated.
