摘　　要：20世纪中国性灵散文离不开中国古代性灵理论和现代作家对性灵的倡导,它经历了悲悯伤惋、潇洒自若、以物喻理和通脱平和四个阶段,其最突出的特点是富于天地之气、灵动自由的叙事风格、空灵的意境和优美的语言等,这在20世纪中国散文史上具有重要意义,其不足是文体意识的自觉尚未建立起来。Chinese emotional prose of the 20th century, which is indispensable to the guidance of traditional Chinese theories on emotion and of modem writers in terms of emotion, has undergone four stages of sorrowfulness and grief, naturalness and leisureliness, explanation through object description, and sensibility and tranquility. The prose of that period is most typically characterized by its vigorous, flexible and free narrative style, exquisite artistic conception, fine language, etc, which is of great significance in the history of Chinese prose in the 20th century. What is imperfect is,however, that the stylistic consciousness has not been instituted yet.
