摘　　要：美国总统就职演说历来是很重要的一件事情。2013年是奥巴马总统第二次当政,他踌躇满志,信心十足,对此次演说倾注了心血和才能。演说可谓是精心设计,其用词、句式、修辞手段、谋篇等都进行了巧妙的谋划,排比句式随处可见,还有不少典故和双关,呼吁美国人民继续支持他。从演讲的具体实例,结合篇章功能,对奥巴马第二次就职演说词进行语用分析,透视演讲词的语用目的。The inaugural address has always been a very important part of American political life. The year before last was the beginning of Obama’s second term. Being complacent and full of confidence, he devoted much attention to his second inaugural address. He elaborately mapped up the address and carefully selected vocabulary, sentence pattern, figurative language, and laid out the paragraph. In his address, there are many parallel structures, allusions, puns, etc. Obama appealed to American people for their support. This paper makes a pragmatic analysis of the address.
