摘　　要：s: This paper briefly comments on the developments of current sheep farming in China, and points out some existent problems. With the rapid development in sheep farming, the mean possession of mutton varies from 1.70kg to 2.50kg between 1995 and 2003. However, there exist some serious problems such as coarse breeding, little proportion of lamb, poor quality of the mutton, blindness of sheep breeding, weak market information and so on.s: This paper briefly comments on the developments of current sheep farming in China, and points out some existent problems.
