摘　　要：马里兰大学以建设世界一流的公立研究型大学作为战略目标,制定了以国际化发展为着眼点的发展战略,通过实施全方位的国际化战略举措,使得学校在短短25年时间完成了从单一的农学院到综合性研究型大学,从州立的公立大学到国际知名及一流大学的成功转型与嬗变。本文着眼于马里兰大学在教育教学、师资建设以及科学研究规划中的国际化要素,从人才培养、学术活动、合作交流和管理评估的国际化等方面梳理学校在国际化目标下的实施路径,并总结出马里兰大学在建设世界一流大学进程中的经验和有益启示。马里兰大学"多维度"、"深层次"的国际化发展是国际知名及一流研究型大学国际化路径的成功案例,其成功经验可以为我们国际化发展提供可借鉴的经验。UMCP(University of Maryland-college park)aims for building itself into a world-class public research-based university, and sets the international development as its starting point. Through various international strategic measures on all aspects, UMCP has made itself develop into a comprehensive and internationalized research-based university. The international development of UMCP is a very successful case to study the effective path of internationalization among international well-known and first-class research-based universities. The inspiring and learning from its success can provide valuable experience for Chinese universities on their international development.
