摘　　要：在一定程度上,英语单词是制约英语学习水平的瓶颈,记忆英语单词应把握一些基本原则,同时,要运用科学方法。教师则应在教学中帮助和引导学生掌握这些科学方法。To some degree, vocabulary is the obstacle which restricts people's English proficiency ,either in College-Entrance Examination, or in CET Band-4 or Band-6. Therefore, Learners all commence preparing by 'reciting new words'. Learners should grasp some fundamental principles as well as apply some scientific methods. Simultaneously, teachers should adopt those approaches to help their students overcome difficulties in reciting new words during their teaching.
