摘  要:在磨料磨具制造中 ,细粒度、高硬度的碳化硅陶瓷磨具的黑心现象一直是行业研究、关注的问题。本文是在对如何解决碳化硅陶瓷磨具黑心问题研究的基础上 ,在专用陶瓷结合剂的研究中 ,通过试验发现 ,在陶瓷结合剂中适当的引入α -Al2 O3粉后 ,可在较高的吸水率 ( 8% )的情况下 ,其硬度、抗压强度、抗折强度、抗弯强度与较低吸水率 ( <1% )的同类产品相同。利用X—衍射、岩相分析发现 ,由于α -Al2 O3粉的引入 ,促进了结合剂中石英的反应 ,使结合剂反应更完全。在扫描电镜下观察发现 ,引入的α -Al2 O3粉在陶瓷结合剂中发生了扩散 ,形成了反应层 ,且该反应层非常的致密、组织均匀 ,未发现新的晶体生成。这个反应层在陶瓷结合剂中起着加强网的作用 ,使得陶瓷磨具在气孔率较高的情况下保证陶瓷磨具的机械强度。The black core of vitrified SiC grinding wheel of fine grit and high hardness has always been a major R & D target in abrasives industry Based on our research in this area and on special purpose vitrified bond, this paper showed by experiment that, if a certain amount of α-Al 2O 3 powder was introduced, the vitrified bond of high water absorptivity (8%) can have the same hardness, compressive strength, rupture strength, and shearing strength as the bond of the same kind but of low water absorptivity(less than 1%). X ray diffraction and petrographic examination found that the introduction of α-Al 2O 3 powder helped quartz reaction and made the bond reacted more completely SEM observations found that α-Al 2O 3 powder diffused in the bond and formed a reaction layer, which was of very compact and uniform composition No new crystals were found This layer acts as a reinforcing net in the vitrified bond, thus guaranteeing the mechanical strength of vitrified bonded wheel if the wheel is of high porosity
