摘　　要：说明流媒体技术对远程教育的重大意义 ,阐述远程教育发展的历程、发展的规模、发展中存在的不足 ,而流媒体技术能有效弥补目前的这些不足 。This paper illustrates the great significance of incorporating stream media technology into current distance education. The development, scale, weakness of distance education will be analyzed first. The advantages of the emerging stream media technology, which can effectively compensate the weakness of the current situation of distance education, will then be shown. Finally, the significance of the perfect combination of stream media technology and distance education will be discussed.
