摘　　要：计算数学是现代数学的一个重要分支,主要是在新中国成立后发展起来的。吉林大学数学系1956年开设了近似方法专门化,1957年苏联计算数学专家梅索夫斯基赫应邀到长春讲学,组建了计算数学教研室,并于1958年正式建立了计算数学专业,成为我国最早创办计算数学专业的高校之一,影响了其后清华大学、复旦大学、武汉大学等高校计算数学专业的创办。通过对李荣华、冯果忱两位当事人的访谈,获得了吉林大学1956年到1958年创办计算数学专业的史料,对这一时期计算数学在高等院校的发展有了初步认识,为进一步研究计算数学在中国发展打下了基础。As an important branch of modern mathematics,computational mathematics was mainly developed after 1949 in China. Early in 1956,the department of mathematics of Jilin University has offered a specialization course of approximation method. Next year,Soviet Union expert I.P. Mysovskih was invited to Changchun to give lectures. The Teaching and Research Section of computational mathematics was established in 1957 and then became a formal major in 1958,which was one of the earliest computational mathematics major founded in university and made difference to the foundation of the major in Tsinghua University,Fudan University and Wuhan University. By interview with two participants,Li Ronghua and Feng Guochen,we got many historical materials of the foundation process of this major in Jilin University from 1956 to 1958. We had a preliminary picture of the development of computational mathematics in universities and colleges in this period,which had laid a foundation for the further historical study of the major.
