摘　　要：金陵女子大学图书馆是美国传教士在我国创办的第一个女子大学图书馆。自创立起,引进美国图书馆管理理念,实行全开放模式,注重服务效率,实行兼职制和聘用制等,走出了一条颇具特色的发展之路,对当今高校图书馆和学术研究具有启迪意义。Ginling College Library is the first Library of female colleges which was set up in China by American missionaries. From the beginning of its foundation,it took advantage of the U. S. library management ideas and implemented the full open service for readers. The library paid attention to the efficiency of service,the implement of part- time and employment systems etc. It embarked on a creative road of development and its experiences still have enlightenment significance to university libraries and academic research nowadays.
