Objective To study the influence of electroacupuncture on CRP and IL-6 expressions in adipose tissue of simple obesity rat. Methods 60 obesity models rats were randomly divided into trial and control groups,30 rats in each group. Control group was not treated with electroacupuncture stimulation, while the trial group was treated with electroacupuncture stimulation on zusanli and sanyinjiao, continued for half a month. Lee’s index before and after the treatment, and TC,TG,LDL,HDL,and the gene mRNA expressions of CRP and IL-6 in adipose tissue were also tested between two groups. Results Lee’s index of trial group was significantly dropped after treatment, which was statistically different from before the treatment( P < 0. 05),and that of control group( P < 0. 05); The levels of TC,TG,HDL and LDL in trial group were significantly lower than those of control group( P < 0. 05); the level of CRP and IL-6 mRNA in trial group were significantly lower than those of control group( P < 0. 05). Conclusions Electroacupuncture could improve the gene expressions of CRP and IL-6 in simple obesity rat adipose tissue, and ameliorate its inflammation state.
