关于今本“《大唐新语》”的真伪问题  

On the Authenticity of Extant Edition of New Anecdotes of the Tang Dynasty

摘　　要：署唐人刘肃撰的书籍 ,今传世者有《唐世说新语》和“《大唐新语》”两种 ,但二者内容相同 ,显是同书异名。那么 ,此书之原名是《唐世说新语》抑或是《大唐新语》 ?迄今为止 ,一般均认为《唐世说新语》为《大唐新语》的异名。但是 ,经笔者考察论证 ,现所存显然是《唐世说新语》 ,而《唐世说新语》实是明人伪造的一部书 ,并非刘肃原撰的《大唐新语》。The book written by Liu Su in the Tang Dynasty is generally believed to have two existing editions. One is New Anecdotes of Social Talk in the Tang Dynasty and the other is the so-called 'New Anecdotes of the Tang Dynasty'. The two editions are identical in content but with different titles. Then, which one is the original title of the book? Up to now, it has been widely accepted that New Anecdotes of Social Talk in the Tang Dynasty is just another name of ' New Anecdotes of the Tang Dynasty ' written by Liu Su. But after a careful investigation, the author proves that the only existing edition is no other than New Anecdotes of Social Talk in the Tang Dynasty, which is actually a book written by someone in the Ming Dynasty under the name of Liu Su. Therefore, it is by no means another name or a different edition of the original work written by Liu Su and entitled New Anecdotes of Tang Dynasty.
