摘　　要：语言歧义涉及到语言运用过程中的各个层面,分类众多,触发英汉语词歧义的因素不仅有词内部因素如词素的多义性及其不同的语义关系,而且有词外部因素如语境、听读者的语言知识水平等.A variety of ambiguity exists in every aspect in the process of applying language. Such ambiguity is caused not only by the internal factors such as the polysemy of a morpheme or a word and their different semantic combinations, but also by external factors such as contexts and readers' or listeners' knowledge of English or Chinese language.
