摘　　要：中国传统数学是指 19世纪前期与西方数学合流之前在中国独立发展起来的那部分数学 ,它大致经历了初创、形成、发展和衰落 4个阶段。弘扬中国传统数学所取得的辉煌成就 ,分析其最终衰废的原因 ,对于今天中国数学的发展有着重要意义。Chinese traditional mathematics refers to that part of mathematics developed independently in China before confluence with western mathematics in the first years of 19th century,which includes four stages:establishment;come into being;prosperity and downfall.It is meaningful work to exhibit traditional mathematical achievement in China and analyze factors for downfall.
