摘　　要：万维网联盟(W3C)创建网络标准,其最终目标是以开发互通技术来引领网络发挥其全部潜能。因此,W3C必须保证它的出版物——W3C建议被正确地应用。为了满足这种需求,W3C发动了一个质量保证活动,研究改进W3C标准应用的质量和W3C标准自身的质量。本文将着重介绍W3C质量保证活动的目标、范围和结构。W3C creates the technical specifications regarded by the Web Community at large as 'Web standards', but to lead the Web to its full potential, it must ensure that its deliverables - W3C Recommendations - are implemented correctly. W3C has decided to take a new lead in improving the quality of implementation for W3C technologies. This paper will introduce this new W3C Quality Assurance Activity by presenting the goals, scope objectives and structure of activity.
