摘　　要：亨利·霍姆是英国经验主义美学的代表人物之一,他对美学史的贡献是:对"美"这个范畴的研究达到了当时美学的最高峰;创造了"宏伟"这一新的美学范畴。文章辨析了霍姆的美学思想与其他经验主义美学家的美学思想的异同。Henry Home is one of the representatives of British Empiricist Aesthetics. He is the greatest of his age in studying the definition of 'beauty', and creates the new category of 'grand'. The author points out the differences and similarities between his ideas and other aesthetic thoughts.
