摘　　要：《围城》充分展现了钱钟书先生对20世纪30年代某一类人某种精神的独具匠心的文学观照。钱钟书从方鸿渐既不幸又万幸的初次婚恋际遇的独到设计入手,通过同是归国留学生的方鸿渐与苏文纨之间的感情纠葛,使得方鸿渐由万幸复而不幸的命运逆转,由他们在性格、文化人格上的不相容,充分凸显了“这一个”方鸿渐缺乏自主自为精神的人格缺弱,也充分揭示了方鸿渐这类中西文化精神的混血儿的性格阴暗面和孱弱的文化人格。The Wall City proves to be Qian Zhongshu's particular insight into the personality of some people in 30s in 21stcentury. By revealing the lucky and then unlucky first love and marriage of Fang Hongjian, his love with another student abroad SuWenwan, which involves the changes from happiness to disaster in Fang's life and their conflicts in character and culturalpersonality, Qian Zhongshu displays clearly defects in the dependent personality of a Fang Hongjian and at the same time theclassified weaknesses in character and cultural personality of the half-breed of Chinese-western culture of the kind.
