摘　　要：目的　证明多聚体缓释化疗治疗高度恶性脑胶质瘤的有效性和安全性。方法　设计随机临床对照实验计划 ,比较BCNU缓释片及安慰剂缓释片的疗效差异。结果　BCNU缓释片组病人的平均生存期为 37周 ,安慰剂缓释片组病人的平均生存期为 2 4周。术后 6个月 ,安慰剂缓释片组中 13( 5 0 %)名病人死亡 ,BCNU缓释片组中 7( 2 6 %)名病人死亡 (P <0 0 5 )。结论　术后肿瘤残腔置入BCNU缓释片能够延长病人生存时限 ,安全有效。Objective To evaluated the safety and efficacy of the treatment of malignant brain tumors with implantable slow-release chemotherapeutic polymers. Methods 53 patients with malignant brain tumors were randomly divided into two groups. 27 cases were treated with BCNU-impregnated biodegradable polymers and 26 cases were treated with empty polymers (as placebo). The different outcome between the two group was observed. Results The median survival was 37 weeks in the BCNU treatment group vs 24 weeks in the placebo group. The mortality of BCNU group and placebo group was 26% (7/27) and 50% (13/26)(P<0.05) respectively at six months after operation. Conclusions Our data has confirmed that surgical resection and placement BCNU polymers into the resection cavity could significantly prolong survival and the polymer technology is a safe and effective treatment for patients with malignant gliomas.
