从族称变化看汉族的发展壮大

摘　　要：　汉族先民及其周邻民族,曾在不同历史时期对古代汉族有过不同的指称,诸如夏人、秦人、汉人、唐人、宋人、明人和华夏等。汉族先民随着多民族中国的历史发展,一直作为历史上多民族中国的主体民族而不断发展壮大。汉族先民在自己的发展历史上,依照相继建立的中央王朝的国名,有着不同的循国号而称自称或他称。我们根据民族形成的一般规律,通过汉族先民循国号而称的族名,可以窥测到古代汉族的发展壮大历程。The ancients of the Han nationality and her neighboring nationalities had called Han nationality different names during different historical periods,such as Xia people,Qin people,Han people,Tang people,Song people,Ming people,Huaxia,and so on.As the main nationality of China with multiple-nationalities in history,the ancients of the Han nationality had always developed and expanded continuously alongside the developments of the ancients of the Han nationality.In her own developmental history,according to the state names of central dynasties built one after another,the ancients of the Han nationality had had different self-called names or other-called names in the light of the title of a reigning dynasty.By the national name called by the ancients of the Han nationality according to the title of a reigning dynasty,and according to the general laws of national formation,we could see the course of development and expansion of Han nationality during ancient history.
