摘　　要：本文试图对新闻英语的次语体———广播新闻英语的文体特征进行分析研究 ,旨在加深对新闻英语文体特征的总体认识和对其次语体文体特征的差异性的进一步了解。研究应用Halliday的系统功能语法理论指导下的“功能语篇分析”模式 ,从文化语境、情景语境和语言使用几个方面对在BBC新闻网上传播的有关 2 0 0 3年上半年发生在中国及其它地区的SARS疫情以及对经济的影响的两篇新闻报道进行量化分析 ,深入讨论和分析了广播新闻英语所独有的文体特征。This paper attempts to make a detailed study of the stylistic features of radio news reports.Based on Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar, the paper quantitatively analyzes 2 news reports about SARS and its effects on economy, which were broadcast on BBC News Website.It discusses the stylistic features of this sub-class of news English——radio news report English from the angle of context of culture, context of situation and the use of language.
