摘  要:本文简述了鞍型场离子枪的工作原理,并给出了我们所研制的鞍型场离子枪的特性。实验结果表明,我们研制的这种枪在放电功率为16W 时,枪体的温度为300℃,因而不需水冷;再有,这种枪所发射的束流中有很多荷能中性粒子。在放电电流为1.2mA、放电电压为4~7kV 时,中性粒子占全束流的70%~80%。本文对中性束流的实验结果进行了讨论。Operational principles of saddle field ion guns have been briefly described and the characteristics of the ion guns developed in our laboratories have been shown in this paper.The experiments show when the discharge power is 16W the temperature of the ion gun body is 300℃,so water cooling is not necessary.And the experimental results also show there is a lar- ge proportion of energetic neutral particles which are amitted by the ion guns.When the disc- harge current is 1.2 mA and discharge voltage is in the range of 4~7kV,70-80% of the total current is the current of neutral particles.Discussions about the neutral current have been given in the paper as well.
