摘　　要：文章介绍了微结构光纤(MOF)的结构、导光机制和设计参数,详细讨论了MOF的几种新奇特性及其在光通信系统中广阔的应用前景,最后展望了我国在微结构光纤领域的研究.This paper first introduces the structures, waveguiding principles and design parameters of microstructure optical fibers (MOF). And then discusses several special features of MOF and their future applications in optical communications systems. Finally the future research of MOF in our country is envisioned.
