摘　　要：杜道坚认为历来为《老子》作注的人,皆没有探索到老子著书的本意,他作《原旨》一书提出,《道德经》实际上是一部与世事密切相关的资治书。他从治道,无为,民本,政务,刑法,教育,兵事,外交等方面,发隐抉微,论述了如何治理国家的大义。这是老学史上的一大突破,有其重要的学术意义和现实价值。Du Dejian held that the annotations to The Classic of the Way and Its Virtue didn't show his Laozi's purpose. He pointed out in his Original Purport that it was a book on governing. Du expounded the cardinal principles of government in terms of governing, inaction, people-based, governing affairs, penal code, education, military, and diplomacy. It was of great academic value and practical significance.
