摘　　要：及物性理论已经为许多人用来进行实际的语篇分析 ,比如在文体分析等方面的应用、在语篇分析中的统计分析以及说明语篇的权力意识等。及物性的六种过程以及在语篇中某一类的过程分布等研究听起来似乎很有道理 。The theory of transitivity has been largely applied in the discourse analysis, such as the application in stylistics, the statistic analysis of the distribution of the ideational meanings and the inquiry of PC (political correctness) in discourse. It seems to be plausible to defend a proposition by the distribution of the processes in transitivity. Yet, there is still a long way to go as to the practical value of the theory.
