摘 要:浙东自古以来就是海盐的主要产区。浙东台州古镇皤滩位于水陆交汇的要隘上 ,因其地利而成为浙东食盐贸易的中转站。通过食盐贸易皤滩构筑了台州沿海平原与内陆山区的商业交通网络 ,同时也促进了自身的发展与繁荣。民国以来 ,交通事业的发展改变了食盐运输的传统模式 ,皤滩由此失去了作为食盐贸易中转站的优势地理条件。The east of Zhejiang has been the main area where the salt has been produced since ancient times. Potan is one of the ancient towns in Zhejiang. It has become the salt transfer station because of its favourable terrain. The commercial traffic networks between the coastal plain of Taizhou and landlocked mountain region have been constructed in Potan through the salt trade, which promotes Potan's own development and prosperity at the same time. Since the Republic of China, with the development of transportation, the traditional mode has changed, and Potan has lost the advantage of geographical condition which was regarded as the trade transfer station of salt. The rise and decline of Potan is a typical example of China's ancient salt industry and commercial relation of market.
