Effect of Pressure, Solidified Time and Binding Materials on the Quality Parameters and Intake of Urea-molasses-mineral Blocks for Beef Cattle

摘  要:通过 3个试验研究了 3种压强、固化时间及赋形剂的添加水平对尿素 糖蜜 矿物质舔块质量参数和舔食量的影响。结果表明 ,随着压强的增加 ,舔块硬度和密度呈二次曲线规律提高 (P <0 .0 0 1) ,而厚度膨胀度和肉牛舔食量呈二次曲线规律降低 (P <0 .0 0 1) ,其曲线的拐点约在 2 0Mpa压强。固化时间对舔块硬度、密度和膨胀度均有显著影响 (P <0 .0 5 )。糖蜜、氧化钙添加水平 ,导致舔块硬度和密度明显增加 (P <0 .0 5 )。本试验结论 :糖蜜、氧化钙、氧化镁和钠型的适宜添加水平为 12 %、5 %、2 %~ 4 %和 5 %~ 10 %。Three experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of three different pressure, post-solidification time and addition of binding materials on the quality parameters and intake of urea-molasses-mineral blocks (UMMB) for beef cattle. The results showed that with increasing pressure, the hardness and density of the block were increased (Quadratic; P<0.001), but inflation degree of diameter and thickness and daily consumption of blocks significantly decreased (Quadratic; P<0.001), which suggested an appropriate pressure is at 20 Mpa. The hardness, density and inflation rates of UMMB were significantly influenced by post-solidification time (P<0.001). Increasing the level of addition of molasses and CaO resulted in an evident increase in the hardness and density of UMMB (P<0.05). It is concluded for this study that the acceptable quality parameters of the UMMB would be achieved by supplementation of molasses, CaO, MgO, and bentonite at the level of 12%, 5%, l2%~4%, and 5%~10%, respectively.
