摘　　要：随着无线网络技术的日益成熟和发展,它将越来越多地应用于大学校园中,成为大学校园现有网络的有效扩展。无线网络目前在国外(尤其北美和欧洲的部分国家)高等教育中的应用发展非常快,显示出了良好的应用前景。该文在简要分析北美高等教育中应用无线网络的成功经验的基础之上,浅谈了对我国高校在今后发展和建设无线网络教育工程中的一些启迪。s: With the development of wireless network technology, portable terminal devices like laptop PC, PDA .etc will be wildly used among college students. The wireless network will be popular in campuses and will facilitate college students access the Internet at anytime and anywhere. This paper examines the state of wireless network implementation in North American higher education and explores the key points which we should take care during the wireless network implementation in our higher education in the near future.
