摘　　要：外来语是当代国际通用语言的重要组成部分。当代外来语的发展趋势呈现出借词同音化、新词趋同化、信息密集化、语言经济化等特点。汉语外来语的发展应注重音译拼写外来语的途径,解决音译外来语技术瓶颈,探索双音节的外来语缩略语字母词的解决方案。Loanwordsconstitutes the major part in any international language. Modern loanwords show various features, such as sound assimilation, form assimilation, information intensive and languageeconomy. Chinese loanwords mainly follow theway of sound loaning with Chinese characters. In addition, the technical solution to sound loaning and bisyllabic translation of foreign abbreviations are the effective strategies of loanwords.
