摘 要:大学英语教学的目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力 ,特别是听说能力。英语词汇具有“组块”性的特点 ,学生流利表达的关键在于词汇块储存的多少 ,依赖于大脑对它们的快速提取 ,而不取决于学习者大脑中储存的语法规则。因此 ,英语教学中教师要使学生有机会接触到词汇块并加以有意注意 ,增强他们对词汇块的敏感性 ,提高其熟练运用的能力。这对培养学生交际能力具有十分重要的意义。The goal for college English teaching is to produce students proficient in language use, in particular with good listening and speaking ability. The students' fluency in language production is determined by whether they have internalized the lexical chunks in their mind and how quickly these chunks can be retrieved. To develop the students' oral proficiency, university teachers are expected to expose them to as many lexical chunks as possible, raising their awareness and reinforcing their alertness. This will in turn, help promote their competence in language communication.
