摘　　要：江泽民同志“三个代表”重要思想对新世纪高等教育改革发展具有重大指导意义。高等教育和高等学校应该肩负实践“三个代表”重要思想的历史重任 ,不断推进高等教育的改革与发展。Comrade Jiang Zemin's important thought of 'the Three Representatives' has a direct significance for the reform and development of higher education in the new century. Higher education and higher learning institutions should shoulder the historical heavy task of practicing 'the Three represents' important thought, and push the reform of higher education upon a innovatory stage under the direction of 'the Three Represents'.
