摘 要:网格作为第三代互联网的基础设施,代表着网络发展的方向。远程教育系统通过运用网格技术,可以改善分布式学习资源的存储管理效率,提升系统性能。本文通过构建面向网格服务体系的现代远程教育模型,并就学习对象及其功能的分析方面进行探讨。Through the construction of a 'Network Virtual Supercomputer' or 'Meta-Computer', the Grid Integrated Computing and Resources Environment has acquired robust computing capabilities and it has become the infrastructure for the third generation of the Internet. This represents the future development of the WWW. This paper provides an overview of how the OGSA (Open-Grid-Services-Architecture) oriented distance education system can utilize network technologies to improve the storage management efficiency for distributed learning resources and to enhance the basic system functions through the construction of a GSA (Grid-Services-Architecture) oriented modern distance education system. With examples from tele-immersion learning, this paper introduces the concept of grid services and the grid-services-oriented model. It also describes how learners in the network virtual reality environment can co-operate, compete and interact in the same virtual setting through the Internet. This has simplified many complex problems that have long existed. This paper also analyzes learning agents and their functions. Finally the authors discuss the prospect of using the information grid as the Internet of the future and as a means to manage and regulate learning resources in the distance education system, based on the effective utilization and management of different resources in the distributed environment as analyzed from the perspective of the use of an information grid.
