摘　　要：通过分析STEP标准信息集成和数据交换的机理、应用及存在的不足,探索了采用XML标记语言替代STEP标准定义的传统的EXPRESS语言作为数据集成与交换的可行性和基本方法,提出了一种实现STEP标准的新思路.Analyzed the mechanism and its underlying problems of the traditional implementation methods for STEP data exchange. Discussed the feasibility and basic methods of the XML representation as a new implementation method for STEP. Explored the mapping methods of the meta-model components of EXPRESS language to the corresponding XML constructs. Probable XML Schema mapping correspondences of partial EXPRESS model elements are given.
