摘　　要：嵌入式零树小波编码是目前国际上最先进的图像编码方法之一,但仍然有不足之处,该算法在编"孤立零"码时会造成比特位冗余,因此在分析了零树编码不足的基础上,提出了基于人眼视觉特性的零树小波编码方法。SPIHT有着很高的压缩率,但对误码非常敏感,一个比特出错可能导致解码器不能正确解码,引起图像质量严重下降。本文在H.Man等人的图像编码方案的基础上提出一种改进方案。The Embedded Zerotree Wavelets Coding, which is one of the most advanced image coding methods in the world today, still has its own defects, for when it comes to the 'solitary zero code' the algorithm results in redundant bits. This paper, therefore, makes an analysis of the defects and offers a solution, the Zerotree Wavelets Coding based on the visual characteristics of the human eyes. On the other hand, SPIHT, which has a high compression rate, is sensitive to wrong coding, in which a (mistake) in a bit causes the decoder to break down completely and results in a sharp decline of the (image) quality. And an improvement of this is also provided in this paper on the basis of the image (coding) scheme suggested by H.Man and others.
