Most archeologists believe that Mawangdui No. 1 Han Tomb T-shaped silk painting is the funeral “dispatch car” leader played by the “flag”, as the early Han Dynasty funeral products, it contains the yellow old learning of heaven thought and Chu wind color. The religious forms behind the symbol images on the silk paintings had special cultural significance at that time. Based on the stories behind the symbol images on silk paintings, we explored some views on life and death in the Han Dynasty, such as the idea of eternal life of the West Queen Mother, the idea of ascension to heaven, the idea of the cycle of life and death and other different ideas corresponding to the concept of life and death.
