中国共产党“自塑”和“他塑”形象对比研究

摘  要:百年兼程,百年奋斗,中国共产党领导的制度优势在治国理政和疫情防控中得到了全面展现。本文通过自建中国政府和《纽约时报》中英双语平行文本语料库,考察和对比了2020年新冠疫情期间中国共产党的自塑形象和他塑形象。结果发现:1) 提及次数和时间分配表明中国共产党在2020年间受到较大的国内外关注;2) 英文译名分析发现自塑者和他塑者对中国共产党的译名并不统一;3) 对主题词、高频词、近义词和搭配进行分析发现中国共产党的积极形象主要体现在抗击疫情、扶贫脱贫、国际合作等方面。基于语料库的自塑形象和他塑形象分析有利于中国共产党掌控和引领自身国际形象塑造。With one hundred years of commitment and devotion, the leadership of the Communist Party of China fully demonstrated its capacity to govern China and contain COVID-19 in 2020. Based on two Chinese/English parallel corpora in this period, one shaped by the Chinese government and the other, the New York Times, this article examined and compared the self-created image of the Communist Party of China and the other-created image during the COVID-19 response. The results showed that: 1) The number of mentions and their timing indicate that the Chinese Communist Party received great domestic and foreign attention in 2020;2) Varied translations of the Communist Party of China were adopted by the two agents;3) The analysis of subject matter, high-frequency words, synonyms and collocation lines found that the positive image of the Communist Party of China was mainly reflected in the effective COVID response, poverty alleviation and eradication, and its role in promoting international cooperation. The corpus-based analysis of self-created and other-created images is conducive to the efforts of the Chinese Communist Party in shaping its own international profile.
