摘　　要：《中国大学学术英语:现象学访谈研究》一书使用现象学研究法,描述了四位大学生学习英语的独特经历,旨在了解当代中国大学生的代际特征,以及影响其英语学术成就的重要因素。同时,书中记录的大量访谈数据及教学反思,为优化大学学术英语教学模式提供了参考,寄托了作者对学术英语发展前景的美好展望。The book University English for Academic Purposes in China: A Phenomenological Interview Study describes the unique academic English learning experience of four college students, in order to explore generational characteristics of today’s Chinese university youth and the indispensable dispositions affecting their English academic achievements. The methods used are Seidman’s phenomenological in-depth interviewing. Meanwhile, a large amount of interview data and teaching reflection recorded in the book provide a reference for optimizing the academic English teaching model and express Dr. Rao’s bright vision of the development of academic English.
