摘　　要：随着科技进步和全球化的深入,英汉两大语言及其背后的文化在国际交往中的作用愈发凸显。本研究通过深入对比英语和汉语的语法、语言结构和表达习惯,旨在探索两者之间的语言和文化差异。文章首先梳理了此领域的研究历程,为读者提供了坚实的理论背景。接下来分析两者在多个层面的对比,包括它们如何反映各自的思维方式和文化价值观。研究结尾强调,了解和认识这些差异对于有效地跨文化交际至关重要,希望为今后的国际合作和交流提供有益的参考。With the advancement of science and technology and the deepening of globalisation, the two major languages of English and Chinese and the cultures behind them have become more and more prominent in international communication. This study aims to explore the linguistic and cultural differences between English and Chinese through an in-depth comparison of their grammar, lan-guage structure and expression habits. The article firstly surveys the history of research in this field, providing readers with a solid theoretical background. Next, it analyses the contrast between the two on a number of levels, including how they reflect their respective ways of thinking and cultural values. The study concludes by emphasising that understanding and recognising these differences is crucial for effective intercultural communication, and hopes to provide useful references for fu-ture international cooperation and communication.
