明晰理论视角下《万象中国》中石窟文化字幕翻译策略探析

摘  要:随着中国的快速发展,中国以一个全新的大国形象屹立在世界之林。讲好中国故事,传播中国文化是让中国故事走向世界的最佳方式,也是提升中国话语权的有效手段。在互联网飞速发展的今天,纪录片以其特有的表现形式成为文化传播的重要载体。《万象中国》旨在挖掘一个个故事背后中国人独特的价值体系及文化内涵并向国际传播中国文化。本文以《万象中国》中与石窟文化相关的《麦积胜境》、《花开敦煌》及《云冈新景观》三集为研究对象,以明晰理论为研究视角,探析该纪录片中字幕的翻译方法。明晰理论视角下的石窟文化翻译研究,通过石窟文化的译介,强化文化遗产保护、促进文化交流理解的同时,激发全球对石窟文化的兴趣与研究,加深文化多样性对话,对提升全球文化理解和合作具有重大意义。With China’s rapid development, it stands a very important place in the world as a brand new great power image. Telling Chinese stories well and spreading Chinese culture is the best way to bring Chinese stories to the world, and it is also an effective means to enhance China’s discourse power. Today, with the rapid development of the Internet, documentary has become an important carrier of cultural communication with its unique form of expression. China Bouquet aims to explore the unique value system and cultural connotations of Chinese people behind each story, and to spread Chinese culture internationally. This article takes the three episodes of “Statue Gallery on Silk Road”, “The Daughter of DunHuang”, and “Yungang Grottoes” related to grotto culture in China Bouquet as the research object, and explores the translation method of subtitles in this documentary from the perspective of explicitation theory. The study of grotto culture translation from the explicitation theory perspective is of great significance for enhancing global cultural understanding and cooperation. Through the translation and introduction of grotto culture, it can strengthen the protection of cultural heritage, promote cultural exchange and understanding, stimulate global interest in grotto culture, and deepen the cultural diversity.
