摘　　要：禁忌语作为一种人们在日常交际中经常使用的语言,普遍存在于中西文化中。然而,禁忌语在中西文化中的含义和用法是有很大差异的,研究并运用这种差异,对于中西文化交流具有重要意义。文章从中西文化中禁忌语存在的差异着手,从文化层面分析禁忌语的定义、发展演变、中西文化中禁忌语的相似与不同之处,同时从实际运用的角度阐述中西文化交流中如何正确运用禁忌语,从而避免因禁忌语的误用而产生语言误解和文化冲突。As a kind of language that people often use in daily communication, taboo words generally exist in Chinese and Western cultures. However, there are great differences in the meaning and usage of taboo words in Chinese and Western cultures. To study and apply this difference is of great significance for the communication between Chinese and Western cultures. Starting from the differences between taboos in Chinese and Western cultures, this paper analyzes the definition, development and evolution of taboos, as well as the similarities and differences between taboos in Chinese and Western cultures from the cultural level. At the same time, it expounds on how to correctly use taboos in the cultural communication between China and Western countries from the perspective of practical application, so as to avoid language misunderstanding and cultural conflicts caused by the misuse of taboos.
