现代主义视角下的《荒原》诗歌隐喻研究

摘　　要：本文旨在探讨T.S.艾略特的《荒原》中的诗歌隐喻,以《荒原》为文本,运用Lakoff和Turner的诗歌隐喻理论作为理论框架,并将其置于艾略特所处的时代背景下进行解读。通过分析诗歌中的隐喻及其象征意义,本文将揭示《荒原》如何反映了20世纪初期的社会动荡和文化危机。艾略特作为现代派运动领袖,本文还将探讨《荒原》在现代主义文学中的地位及其对后世文学的影响。本文的研究不仅有助于深入理解《荒原》的复杂性,还能为现代主义诗歌隐喻的研究提供新的视角。 This paper aims to explore the poetic metaphors in T. S. Eliot’s The Waste Land, using the text of The Waste Land and applying Lakoff and Turner’s theory of poetic metaphor as the theoretical framework. The analysis will interpret the poem within the context of Eliot’s era. By examining the metaphors in the poem and their symbolic meanings, this paper will reveal how The Waste Land reflects the social upheaval and cultural crisis of the early 20th century. As a leader of the modernist movement, Eliot’s work will also be studied for its place within modernist literature and its influence on subsequent literary works. This research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of the complexity of Waste Land, but also offers new perspectives for studying metaphors in modernist poetry.
